Anyone have any .kals for use with 87 Octane. A buddy of mind wants to tune his K20a2 for use with cheapo gas for daily cummuting and driving.

He has the following..

Intake
Exhaust
HIghflow Cat

I know I'm going to need to rip out some time accross most of the range but wonder if anyone had a .kal or some advice.

Don't shoot the messenger.. My cars drink the 94 Octane we get here...

If it were me I'd probably lean it out at PT rather than pulling out spark timing across the board to tune it for 87. Just my thoughts on it.

That said, I don't have any, but you're probably going to have to pull a lot of his timing at WOT. PT probably won't need it - sticking with normal fuel you can lean it out quite a bit at PT before having to pull timing to avoid knock.
