tried to apply stock cai kal
03 acura rsx type-s
first day kpro came in i installed the cd software(1.4.0), installed the ecu off the car, then plugged in kpro and it started right up. i never put a kal in it. next i uploaded the cai kal, let it chill for 2 minitues, the car started but it seems like the cai kal doesnt take affect cause vtec kicks in at 5800 and redline is at 8100. i tried messing around with the cai kal and the car didnt react to any of it. it also didnt let me datalog because it said the calibration was from 1.3.9. i thought i messed up somehow so i used another laptop and this time i downloaded the software off of hondatas site(1.4.0) eraced the ecu let it chill for 2 minitues. then tried to put the cai kal and now my car doesnt want to start! wats going on? somehow the ecu doesnt read wat the laptop says. if something doesnt make since i can try to clarify just lmk please

yup the immobilizer is off.
yup uploading with the key in II comp said it was on.
i am using the current kmanager

i think the ecu came in with a tuned factory setting. even though i change the kal it doesnt do anything, it doesnt even click like some people say. apparently that kal is from a 1.3.9 version.
and when i cleared the security the ecu has no kal to run on even though i tried to upload the cai kal.

cliffs: kpro isnt taking the kals

ok i pluged them and the comp made a doding. then i opened kmanager. everythings is blank on there right now. turn the key once radio is on. turn the key twice i think i herd my fuel pump it goes buzmzmz for a second in the back of the car. also kmanager says 'ecu connected' on the lightning bolt for datalogging. kmanager still is blank. went to new cal and clicked cai. didnt hear anything. i noticed that the floppy disk symbol is not showing up to save. so im going into file- save as. cai. now left it for a minute. took out the key.closed kmanager and opened it again. everything is blank. opened the cai i have on the comp. all the numbers now show up. then put it to II. i did hear a two ticks like 2 seconds apart from eachother but it always does that i think. tried to turn it and it sounds like i wants to but it doesnt. my green key light is flashing on my cluster and immobilizer is not checked.

iv tried remove the software and installing 3 times already it doesnt help
also disconnected the wires from the ecu and made sure to put them back in really tight. nothin....

You have to go to file new or click New Calibration and load a calibration into the software. Then you have to click the upload button to actually upload to the ECU . If you have not uploaded then it will not take the calibration.
