Ok, I purchased some RC engineering 550cc injectors and now I think I got some Peak & Hold injectors instead of Saturated [they were advertised as saturated]. I measured resistance and it is a low value [2-3 ohms], and I checked RC's website and they show only making 550's in peak and hold.
My question is will these work just as they are or will I need a resistor box?
Has anyone wired in a resistor box that is using Hondata? I have searched honda-tech and found a writeup on the install of the resistor box and I'm going to do it that way. I just want to make sure I'm not going to run into future problems with running P&H injectors with Hondata.
Injectors
I have 550cc Peak and Hold running with my P72J and have had no problems. I didn't have to wire in the resistor box because I have a 90 civic SI and they have them stock, I just had to convert my ECU to OBD1 to run the s200.
Hondata's webpage has directions for wiring in a resistor box on 92 and up civics. Here http://www.hondata.com/techinjectorwiring.html

If you do not put a resistor box in your car (when using Peak and Hold injectors) you will eventually (probably sooner than later) burn out the injector drivers in the ecu. It is HIGHLY recommended you put a resistor box in the car (whether it be OBD1 or 2).
I did a complete writeup on H-T on putting a resistor box in a OBD1 Civic. All OBD1 Tegs and Civics should be the same and OBD2 should be similar with a different location for the harness plug (under Intake Manifold I believe).
If the drivers blow, you will be stranded!!!
Here is my writeup.
