Switch from s200 to s300

Post by tai_mishuu911 »

I currently have an s200 system. I was wondering if it is possible to pull the tune from the s200 chip and transfer them to the s300.

Any Hondata dealer should be able to do this for you.

Is there any possibility that the tune is password protected and cannot be transferred to the s300 unit? The person who tuned my s200 passed away but I am interested in upgrading and want to keep the tune I have now as a starting point.

It is hard to say. The best thing to do would be to visit a Hondata dealer have them read the chip out and see if it can be imported without any problems.

Nearest dealer is 4hrs away. Would I be able to determine if a tune transfer is possible if I had RE4?

You would have to have the file in question and try loading it into the Smanager software.
