Hi,
have some tech questions:
1- should i change the numbers in the injector phase? when should i change it? or should i ignore it and just tune it normally? i would like to understand what are those 4 cells in the fuel compensation section!
2- lets say i tuned my car on the dyno and car is fine upto 20psi and after 22psi the car starts to misfire and no matter how much i lower the timing it still misfires....do you think i could increase the dwell time to give a bigger spark to reduce the misfire?
3- what is overrun fuel cutoff? is it running exccessive fuel when this is met? when does this happen? could you give me an example of where it is used and being useful? and how to keep it disabled if i dont want to use it? i noticed two types (TPS and MAP), now are both looking in the ecu to perform a task?
4- if am running a boosted honda should i set my rev limiter to be FUEL or FUEL + IGNITION?
Am looking forward for some good amount of information on the questions above! i did spend time reading on the forum to answer those questions, but couldnt find much answers.
thanks advance
Injectors Phase & Overrun fuel cutoff?
There is usually no reason to change injector phasing. Read about this in the Help file: http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/fu ... ctor+phase
You can try increasing the dwell and see if it helps, but you may need to decrease the gap as well. You may also have a ignition problem. We find the stock distributor to be best.
Overrun cutoff shuts off the injectors when you are decelrating or at fery light throttle conditions. http://www.hondata.com/help/smanager/tp ... ub=overrun
Which rev limiter you use is completely up to you. Stock is just a fuel cut.
