Possible Bug: 1.1.4.7

Just noticed this... please advise if this is valid.

When switching between Datalog files... (ie you have more then one open)... the Calibration seems to reloaded when switching. Any changes made are lost... EVEN though there is still a * up to signify changes. Switch between two a few times to see this happen. Making any changes in the "calibration" section, and you can see them revert as the map is reloaded. This seems to be only an issue if you don't SAVE before switching datalogs.

Only reason I noticed is because I made changes to calibration notes and they were gone. Testing confirms this.

I would also like to request the ability to either

1) Open and average more then one datalog at once (it appears FP only averages ONE datalog at a time) for Fuel overlays (great for averaging STFT's over varying conditions for part throttle tuning)

2) Or to be able to merge datalog files, so for example three 30 min datalogs could be one 90 minute datalog, for averaging purposes.

Thank you,

Steve

To add to this,

Testing suggets it affects the values changed under "Calibration" only and not values editted under "Tables", and it only affects those values if you don't switch to a different table before loading a new datalog as in click elsewhere.

So if you enter large changes to one of the values under Calibration, and then click to load a different datalog BEFORE clicking a different field under that calibration (for example even just switching from Injector size to VTEC window before loading the new datalog will save the changes made) otherwise then the changes are lost.

Thank you for the bug report. We have fixed this for the next release (V1.1.5.0).

Would it be acceptable to add an option to use all loaded datalogs (rather than just one) for fuel overlays, or would you require some way to select which datalogs are shown on the overlay?

Having the option to select which datalogs would be best in my opinion.

On the topic of datalogs... can we get a menu item to "Close All" so we don't have to close one at a time?

Also, when we do just close one datalog, can we have the datalog before it be loaded automatically and displayed in the graph window? For instance, currently if you have two datalogs loaded and close one, the graph window goes blank but retains the file path of the datalog you closed in the title. You have to go to the datalog menu and click on the datalog you want to open. Having it select and open the previous one (or the next one in the case of closing the first datalog in the list) would be great.

Great!

As for the options, either way we will end up with the net result we are looking for, and it is easy to close a datalog we don't want averaged, so I in my opinion I would leave it to you with regards to what is easier to implement on your end.

It may be simpler that all datalogs opened, are averaged, and when a datalog is properly closed, it is unaveraged.

The ability to select which datalog to average sounds nice though, if managing different datalog types (like cold start, WOT, vs cruising etc). This is becase one datalog could improperly affect the fuel overlays when comparing cold to warm logs etc, but then again its pretty easy to close the offending log.

Either way I am glad to have this option no matter which method you choose to implement.

Thank you,

Steve
