Launch control settings for street tires?

I want to take my car to the track on street tires. I know that street tires are no good for drag racing, but I still have the stock axles. I will like to try my luck with the launch control, so i don't have to look at the tachometer wile I'm trying to get a good reaction time. I'm thinking of maybe setting it at about 3500 to 4000 rpm. Will this settings work? Max speed set to 5 mph, limiter RPM set at 3800 rpm, fuel enrichment set at 25%, and timing retard set at -30 deg. Any suggestions?

Should be alright..
It'll be trial and error. And just remember to Preload your tranny. By letting the clutch engage slightly before dumping it.
But Try 3500, if you bog out, raise it up to 4000, if you bog out raise it up to 4500, etc..

Hey I forgot, How much lower should the Activation RPM be from the Limiter RPM setting?100, 200, or 300 RPM?

That depends if you want to build boost or not?

Yes, I want 3 to 5 psi. My car has a large turbo.

Use the following at your own risk (I use these settings at my own risk as well):
If you have a momentary switch that you could use to activate these settings then do that? Or, Use the MPH setting to turn it on/off.
Set your launch limiter at 5000rpm
-Activation at 3000rpm
-Fuel enrichment to 300 to 400 units Depending on what size injectors you have. I used 350 with my RC750cc injectors.
-Set ignition timing to -60.
That should spool you up fairly quickly.
Just remember this:
"Retarding the ignition and adding fuel in order to spool a turbo will result in a rapid increase in cylinder head, manifold, turbo and exhaust temperature."

How much boost are you getting with this settings? The fuel enrichment setting, is this in %? You said 350 units with 750cc injectors, I have 1000cc RC injectors. Should I just type 350 in the fuel enrichment box and -60 degs in the ignition box? Is this safe? Do you have the same set up I have in your motor? I want to make shure that I will not blow my motor up. :?:

Use it at your own risk.
Do you have a Pyrometer guage that you can keep an eye on your EGT's with?
I had a Built D16Z6 with a GT2871R and RC750cc's.. And that's what I used.
You won't likely blow up your motor. But you may melt a valve or your turbine in your turbo if you're not careful.
Maybe you should do a bit more reading, or let your tuner show you how to use the anti-lag setup/launch control.

OK, thanks for the info. I don't want to melt anything because the car is my daily driver.
