How long must I datalog in order for the long term fuel trim to be updated / give a correct reading?

My short term ranges between -2% and 8%, but the long term shows 0%. I only logged for 10 minutes while on the interstate.

It all depends on the driving habits. It will usually take much longer than 10 minutes as it must average the short term trims over time.
