Random RED led and stalls

Hi everyone,

I've been having problems lately with my hondata, or at least I think it is the hondata. The car will work perfectly fine, then the engine just dies, and CEL goes on, and when I look at the hondata ECU I see a solid red LED. The rest of the car works, ie. blinkers, fuel pump priming, cranking (but it wont start).

I was able to have it happen again today while accelerating out of the driveway and when I hooked up the laptop, I received a 'floating point division by 0' error when trying to download the map/datalog. I tried again and it worked (but red led/cel still there). When datalogging nothing was changing at all. After turning the car off and cycling a few times it jumped back to life.

I think the problem is with how the chip is seated. Does anyone else have any suggestions? Can anyone explain how to reseat the hondata unit? Is it soldered in, or just pushed in (into a zif socket or something)?
