AT to MT swap

Post by Bard »

Hello, i own 2004 tsx at kpro dual harness.
I exam the possibility of swap at to mt. My dual harness tsx ecu is AT one, if there will be no AT how it will work? I know that rsx ecu is an MT one and he is controlling the engine. Wil it tsx at ecu MIL, or there is a way to shut it up? Cause there will be no need of controlling the AT anymore.
The other things are that the clutch pedal on a tsx and on a rsx-s has two sensors on a clutch pedal they are clutch interlock switch and clutch pedal position switch. How and to were this sensors must be connected ?

Trying to convert to a manual transmssion will be a lot of trouble. You will be better off selling the car and just purchasing a manual car to begin with.

Today i have spoked with a technician who owns a honda dealer scaner. He said that maybe it is possibe to disable the AT part in my dual harness setup via reflash, so it will not even know about AT.
What do you think? Is it possible safely flash the part of tsx ecu, not with the kpro.
