Boost controller

ok so, i have a 91 honda accord with a f22b1 vtec from a 96, and i just installed s300 with a p28 and it works great, the only problem i am having is with the boost controller, i have the right pin out (a11) and i have the other wire connected to a 12v source with a 10 amp fuse...but i am getting no response from the boost controller, i have it set for 7psi but it just rips past it....i thought at first i installed it backwards so i took it out and reversed it...nothing...any ideas? :?:

having the same problem, and yes my ecu was modified to regulate boost, i grounded the signal wire on the solenoid just to test it, and the solenoid clicked, so it seems good, but i get no response when it's in the a11 plug.

You will need to post calibrations and a datalog showing the problem. Who installed the boost components?

sorry, didnt mean to threadjack, the boost components were installed by john vega, phearable.net, i'll post a datalog next time i drive the car, probably this afternoon. was in it earlier an i noticed the pwm duty cycle is changing there's just no idnication the solenoid is getting the signal, guessing i may have a bad connection, how do you connect the wires to the ecu plug? i just stripped the wires, doubled it over and stuffed it down the ecu pin and clipped the wire in place.

Your wiring technique leaves much to be desired. You need to cut the original wire and then solder the wire that goes to the solenoid. All connections in a car should be soldered for reliability and peace of mind. Do not ever use T-taps, scotchlocks or just twist the wires together.

everything else is soldered, there was no wire going into my a11 i dont think, or i would have cut it and soldered it.

Then you need to get a pin with wire attached to insert into the conenctor and solder on your wire that goes to the solenoid.

ok, went to the junkyard, got another ecu plug, pulled the pin, inserted the pin in the a11 slot, soldered the signal wire to my boost controller and no change in behavior, it's a normally open boost solenoid so i tried it at 100pct duty cycle and 0 percent duty cycle. for some reason my computer cant see my datalog recordings when i go to add an attachment, but i'll try and figure it out.

Try incremental changesof 5% from 15% and increase from there.
