O2 Sensor constant readings of 10.7

Post by dampa »

I have a 01 civic thats k20a2 swapped running hondata on a rsx-s ecu.

I am constantly reading a A/F of 10.7 on Hondata. Ive replaced the O2 sensor, which did not fix the problem. I also replaced my wiring today with a Hybrid-Racing Conversion Harness and im still getting the same problem.

What else can I check?

i was getting the p0134 & p1166 with my old sensor. replaced it with a Denso 234-9005 and the problem is still there but only throwing a p1166.

o2 readings are still pegged at 10.7

I checked the fuses, fuses are not blown. Wiring seems to be fine.

When you figure this out please post here. I have the same problem, though mine's stuck at 14.7. Doesn't matter if the engine's running, doesn't matter if the sensor's plugged in - never changes.

When you have error codes it is best to follow the troubleshooting steps in the Helms manual.

FWIW both of them sound like wiring issues. 10.7 is the minimum reading - it can't read any richer than that; 14.7 is the "default" reading - if you turn the key on but don't start the motor, 14.7 is what you'll get. One might be a bad ground, while the other might be a bad input line.

I have the same issue with a car I was tuning but the car has no error codes. I'd love to know what the issue is...
