i have a fully built gsr top and bottom..

head is ported and polish
stage 2 brian crower cams 11.9mm lift
11.7 high compression
lighten crank 89mm
eagle ls rods
blox intake manifold
4-1 type r replica headers and full pipping
p72w/s300

do i have to trust base on the knock sensor if im tunning on the street?
because evererytime i shift from gear to gear
i have knock retard like -4 degree,
i kept retarding but it still showing a knock reatard....

what is the highest or best ign timing for high compression engine at wot and partthrottle?
because mine is kind a low. theres no knock retard on 22 degree from 5000rpm to redline ot wot....
and is it nomal to knock the engine from 20% throttle to wot and goes away for 1-2 secs?

i have a datalog but i accidently erase.. but i will do some pull tomorow and post...

can anyone check my calibration if its okey on the ignition is it smooth enough not to make knock retard

Your car is running ultra rich! And your timing is too advance you need to fix those

thanks...

can anyone check my datalog, am i running to low on my ignition timing?
do i have to add more ignition timing as the rpm or subtract? because my ignition timing is kind a low...or does a high compression engine run in low ignition timing? plsss help me out...

I get the quick detonation as well and was wondering if this was common too.

I also look over your stuff real quick and it looks fine to me a lil rich towards the end.

Agree, shes running a little cool up top.

The trick here is, never rely on a stock knock sensor on a stock engine to assess your state of tune.

Since u dont even own a stock P72 motor anymore, then your stock P72 knock board is listening to an entirely different motor, especially if u got forgies in there.

So if u cant rely on it on a stock motor, then what hope have u got?

The timing does look a little laggy, but u obviously realise this,as uve been pulling it from everywhere. Nobody is really gonna advise u on best timing online, nor should u really take their advice if they do,especially on such an individually setup motor.

U really need to get the thing on the dyno &/or at least in the hands of an experienced tuner who has the motor running in their presence & can tell what is actually right/wrong for your motor. If a dyno/tuner is not available, then prob best u park the car & start reading.

U probably spent a few dollars on that motor, dont blow it by cheaping out on the tune in the home stretch.

agree with what he said
