When wiring a boost control solenoid where is the best place to get 12v power from? Should it be off the ignition switch so it doesn't have power all the time? What about a wide band sensor or boost gauge?

The best source is swtched 12V from the fuse box. There are extra spots in the fuse box specifically for this that you can attach a spade connector.

Really? Oh I'll have to check that out. By switched u mean when the key is turned to accessory right?

Edit: I found it right next to where my viper alarm sends a signal to my parking lights in the fuse box area, wow they couldnt make it any easier...

I'm putting my Wideband on B6 of my P72 (analog 2) and the boost solenoid goes on A11? Does that get rid of my EGR?

Also, when tapping into the ecu for the wideband and boost solenoid can I just use these:

Dont' ever use those types of connectors, they only cause more problems. Always solder your connections and either shrink wrap them or insulate them with electrical tape.

These ECUs do not control EGR so EGR is always eliminated.
