P08J with S300J Queries

Dear All,

My appreciation if anyone can answer my questions below:

1. Does S300J removes the speed limiter? Software supported?

2. I have one after market Spec R VTEC controller wihch can change the VTEC engage point, shift light flash and removes the speed limiter, however if i use it with Hondata? any side effect? As i know the vss wire and vtec solenoid/vtec pressure wire will have to link to the device and then go to the ecu.

3. Is it possible to create a button for map switching purpose? (example: Drag Mode, Track Mode, Street Mode and etc)

4. A bit warm on my hondata S300J P08J ECU after 2 hours driving, is it normal?

5. I've installed a Carputer with 7"inch touch screen LCD in my car, is it possible to auto open "FULL SCREEN F11" after starts the SManager? currently i have to manual press F11 twice to make it to full screen.

My car is stock EK4 auto OBD2A using selfmade converter harness to connect to OBD1 P08J S300J hondata.

Sorry for my bad english, thanks anyway..

Next time your doing 170kph on public roads, just have a look down underneath your foot,u will see a large switch commonly known as a throttle pedal/gas pedal/whatever.

U can actually use this switch while driving, its easy, all u have to do is when u hit 170kph & u havent yet killed any innocent members of the public, just remove your foot from this switch/pedal,the car will automatically cease accelerating & actually decrease speed as well as an added bonus.

For the shift light just tap a relay off the CEL/MIL output wire, then u can run lights as bright & as many as your alternator will handle,u could have a roof full of blue flashing shift light if u desire.

If u want extra shift lights, just use the nitrous/aux outputs as generic outputs,u could turn your car into virtual Xmas tree if u desire.

Tune your VTEC point & leave it alone, there is nothing to gain from fiddling with it after the fact,u can only lose.

Remove that aftermarket device & sell it to some other poor sucker so they can fiddle their VTEC point to their hearts desire & disadvantage.

If u want false VTEC kick for fun then just tune it into the secondary maps & switch that, why anybody would want performance loss just to feel a little torque kick is way beyond me....
