I'm tuning my JRSC'd Civic SI with a Hondata system. Even the ROM I'm using came from hondata (big boost map for JR). The idle has been working great for about two weeks. Now the car runs really rich when I first start the car (between 10-11.5). But once the car is warmed up the idle AFR is perfect. I don't know if this is something I can tune for. Any suggestions on how to tune this or things to try?
Couple more details.. Sometimes the car idles great on startup. The car runs great after its warmed up. I've been messing with the O2 wires to the ECU. I've run the wires from the harness to a switch in the center console. The switch lets me switch between narrowband and wideband inputs to the ECU. The O2 wire to the ECU was shielded. I did not shield my rewiring. Could this be related?
