In my 99 ek4 the iat sensor its on intake rubber pipe, and it measure low temp. when compared to 92 EG for example, that have iat sensor on intake manifold runner wich its harmed up by engine head.

It seems that IAT compensation table it works great for iat sensor mount on intake manifold, but in rubber pipe its not work fine.

At this time where i live i have got 10 celsius degree and my iat read between 15 and 13, and with oem iat compensation table its constantly make adjustments (3% to 6%)

Anyone how has iat sensor on rubber pipe have change iat compensation table? if not, is there any rulle for i change the table?

If at all possible use a manifold mounted IAT to properly read the temps. One in in the intake pipe will not read accurately. We do not have any specific setting that you should use with an intake tube mounted IAT.
