95 Integra LS Special Edition, JRSC, NEED OPTIONS

Post by Spawne32 »

Someone needs to explain this in detail...

I have a 1995 Acura Integra LS Special Edition, AUTOMATIC TRANNY.

I need to tune JUST THE ENGINE for a jackson racing supercharger running 6-11PSI, I DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, NEED TO MODIFY ANY TRANSMISSION CONTROLS.

I have heard countless story's regarding people using Hondata units on the ECU seeing as the transmission computer is an entirely separate unit. However i need to know if any of the units, S100, S200 or S300 will mate to the ECU in this car and provide the tuning capability's i need for just the engine.

Can anyone answer this question or will the automatic tuners continue to be ignored?

None of the Hondata systems we sell, or have sold, support automatic transmissions. While the systems may fit in the ecu, they will not have all the functionality needed to properly operate an automatic transmission.

that doesn't answer my question, i don't need it to tune the automatic transmission, i need it to tune the engine functions. Will it have any adverse side effects on the way the transmission performs with the unit installed, and will it be able to tune the engine functions regardless of the automatic transmission?
