Car won't start after failed programming

I've been runing into an issue over the last few days where the FlashPro fails to complete the program, so the car won't start. I've tried programming it again, and again with no success. However, if I try programming the secondary calibration, it works. If I then upload the calibration from FlashPro Manager to the FlashPro again, it usually fixes the issue. Do I have a defective FlashPro?

I forgot to mention that the FlashPro does act like it's programming (blinking Program LED), but it stops blinking after just a few seconds, and I don't hear the usual buzzes and clicks from the car that I usually hear after the program is complete.

What version of software are you using from Help, About?

I'm using 1.1.2.7, which I believe is the latest non-beta release.

BTW, I think I mentioned it in the original post, but to clarify, I successfully uploaded a calibration in December, then made no changes to that calibration for a couple weeks. I just left the FlashPro connected in my car in case I wanted to do another datalog. Then when I wanted to do a "clean" datalog by uploading that same calibration again, it failed. I don't see how it could be related to the FlashPro Manager since the 1st time I used it to program the ECU it worked fine, then when I did it again a couple weeks later, it failed (over and over and over again). It's like the memory got corrupted, or something.

I'm using 1.1.3.4 and I haven't had any luck uploading any map but the "return to stock" map.
I've downloaded the map from the Flash Pro and from the PC through the flash pro. It doesn't do anything different as far as when it completes, the fuel pump kicks on afterwards and I turn the key off for a few seconds and then back on and try and start it but it just turns over with no attempt to start.
This started with the 1.1.3.4, I've tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it but the same thing happens.
I've also tried unlocking and locking it back to the car.

Is there anything else I can try?

Thanks
Mac

I've had better luck using the secondary program (hold datalog, and press program for 1+ seconds), since the primary program seems to cause what you are experiencing about 10% of the time for me.

I did try downloading from the backup or second source but that didn't work plus I have no problems downloading the "return to stock" map from either of the two flash pro holding spots.

What happens when you upload using the laptop in the vehicle?

The same thing, the only one that starts the car is the return to stock tune. All the other ones will load as usual but the car won't start.

How long does it take to update the firmware on the flashpro?
The power light is just blinking and it's been like that for 5 minutes.

It looks like it crashed the first time. On with the flash :)

Ok, it worked but I hate using beta stuff so I'll just flash it with the "return to stock" tune.
Thanks

Now that I've downloaded the beta, can I reinstall the released ver. or will I have problems? I'd like to be able to do some tuning but I'm not experienced enough to be using beta software.
