Kpro stays offline

Post by playaz97 »

Hi ppl
I recently purchased my kpro ecu for my jdm integra dc5 type R somewhere in the month of August 09. But jus a few days ago I attempted to upload a kal file on it but it doesnt want to go online. I have tried swapping out cables, different laptops, different operating systems & i even tried lastnight installing it in a friends DC5 also & it stays offline.
I am not getting hiccups with the car. It starts perfect, idles normal, drives smooth but its just not allowing me to go ONLINE???
The serial # is 7240 (I THINK THATS IT),
ecu 37820-PNF-A03
kmanager ver 1.3.9.0
stock jdm motor k20 integra type R
550cc injectors with resistor box
short ram intake
oem plugs ( i cant remember the code)

Also, the laptop is recognizing the ecu because once i connect the cable, it prompts to install drivers. I am seeing it in my computer->device properties also. But it jus remains offline. I am also seeing my green led light constantly on.

HELP ME

What exactly does it show up as in the device manager, and in what section?

presently im seeing "hondata k-series ecu (code 10) in my device manager.

im actually seeing "hondata k-series ecu (PID=6006)" or "hondata k-series ecu (pid=6001) or just simply "hondata k-series ecu" in my device manager but i'm getting an error saying "windows could not start device (code 10)"
I have to actually update device drivers because when i plug in, my forst prompt is "unknown device"

I am scared because i am from the caribbean & it was a family member that brought this for me + there is no authorized dealer in my country so i dont even know where to start to help with troubleshooting my problem
