Stability Issues

Post by BV1 »

I have been having alot of Stability issues with FPM.

These are scattered amist 4 different computers (2 at home, 2 at work).

Closing the Calibration Menu and Re-opening it, with working on graphs, sensors, and then clicking on Fuel settings seems to increase the odds of it happening. Essential opening the Calibration window itself more then once by clicking "calibration" seems to start the downfall of events.

And my latest issue which is easily replicatable is I can't download any datalogs over about an hour.

Removing AVG did remove the occurence of Access Denied to lanuch the file. But the rest of the errors remain, the 2 laptops are less stable the the Desktop machines. All four machines are running Windows Xp Pro.

Version is 1.1.2.7

When's the last time you reloaded the OS? I've got 6 computers running FPro Manager with zero stability issues.

Unfortunately with Windows the culprit usually is a 3rd party application which interferes with the normal running of the OS. As a guide, here's a list of processes under XP for my laptop - every additional process will reduce the stability of the OS.
