IAT Readings

Post by EasternBandit »

Just got a used s300, running a stock USP28 map. Everything looks good except the IAT is reading under 20'F. I'm sure that's not right since it's 45'F outside.

I'm positive that the wiring is correct, so I plan to try another sensor. It runs fine but this is bothering me. Any other ideas besides sensor being bad? Doesn't throw any codes.

Try the ECU in a different vehicle as well. IT is possible that the ECU may be damaged. IF that is the case you would have to install the s300 into a good ECU.

Are there any test points I can check with a multi meter? I don't have another honda to test it in...

Got the new sensor yesterday. That fixed it. Lesson learned, never buy non OEM parts when it can be helped. This was the second "new" part to fail on this build..
