can s300 in P06 have vtec?

I know the P06 is a non-vtec ecu, but i've been having a shit ton of problems with s100 and crome, so i'm considering upgrading to s300 and the only ecu i have left is a P06, but my vitara build is on a Z6.. so can i get vtec using s300 on a P06, or is this a hardware thing? also, if it is, what needs to be done to the ecu make it work with vtec?

Yes you can run vtec from a alternate output wiht the s300 on a non-vtec ecu.

it's possible to add the hardware to control the Vtec as a P28 ecu too
