Medium and High Load IAT Ignition Compensation

When I was tuning my car, the car would basically hit a wall if the ignition compensation for HIGH load was not either 0.00 or stock values. I tried using a 0.00 2.50 5.25 compensation when this occurred.

I checked the datalog and it wasnt lean cut.

Can you input different values into these tables and have it adjust correctly? I want to run 30* timing under 86* IAT, 2 degree retard (28*) up to 130, and 5 degree retard (25*) up to 175.

Will values of 0.00, 2.00 and 5.00 work? (I often am in the area of 140* IATs which is why I am asking and I dont want to run 25* all the time. Plus whenever this adjustment is made it registers a knock

Map attached.

Stock values are recommended. If you get knock it is best to remove timing from the actual ignition tables.

The only time I get knock is when the compensation tables have to kick in.

Since i often see 140+ IATs, the compensation takes away like 5 degrees ignition timing, which makes the car noticeably slower throughout a good portion of the year . (Since I live in Texas)

Almost seems like there is a lot of excess engine heat in the bay that needs to be vented or dealt with. Those are like supercharge temps after a run.

I live in Louisiana and have to deal with those issues as well in the summer when we tune.
