atmospheric pressure sensor
what does "use atmospheric pressure sensor compensation" mean?
2000 Integra Gs, turbo kit, RC 550 inj, p28 with s300
If u are running a TPS based fuel & ignition table tune(Alpha-N) such as when using ITBs,then u can get some relief from varying air pressures when driving at a different altitude to where you tuned the car at,if u check the "atmo pressure comp" box.
U will need to have a barometric pressure sensor onboard the ECU for it to work or i do believe some cars have the baro sensor external to the ECu,im not sure,i come from the land of eternal sea level,we dont have baro sensors down here. Its only like 2 of our tracks are 600 & 800m absl, the rest are sea level.
If your running on MAP based tables, then dont worry about that setting
