h22a p72 with s300 afr at 17.3:1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am using the prelude.skl calibration and changed the fuel injector size to stock at 345. I was throwing a code 13(atmospheric pressure sensor) but disabled that, as I heard it was unnecessary, true? I am also throwing a code 16(fuel injectors), I checked to see if the injectors were stuck open, they weren't. My fuel setup is all new: aem rail, aem fpr, and stock injectors with the fpr set around 39 psi. The car idles fine and revs fine...so i don't see how I have an injector issue :?: Is the fuel map i am using on that calibration causing the afr to be so high or could something else be wrong? I disabled the code 16 and car basically runs the exact same except still have a 17:1 afr...any ideas?

what ecu is it?
it probably dont have the injector test circuitry,so just disable the error like u have & forget about it.
sorry,second part of question,u will have to provide some more info on the motor,like mods/O2 setup/etc & cal & datalog files for anybody to be able to help u with your AF probs.
lol,1st part of question,atmo sensor will only come in handy if u travel between different altitudes regularly.

I had code 16 pop up on me once. Ended up being one injector wire was making contact with the strut bar, so make sure that the is no wiring issues, follow the wires all the way to the harness. On the afr note, no engine is alike, even with similar mods. You might need to retune the afr'......

ecu: jdm p72 with s300j (37820-P72-003)
engine mods: just bolt ons....cai, catback exhaust/headers, stock o2 sensor.
I will try to post a cal and datalog file tomorrow night, I haven't done this before so hopefully can figure it out easily.
As for the injector wires, my harness is all new from rywire, the wires are in tact and not grounding off on my strut bar or anything. The car is a 91 civic hatch with the h22a jdm motor in it. Running the rywire wiring harness for my car/engine combo and their jumper harness at the ecu from obd0-obd1.

yeh i got a jdmP72 as well & there is no test circuit,so just disable the error check in Smanager.
how can u determine your AFR with just a stock O2 sensor or did u have a WB installed temporarily?

jdmP72 dont have atmo sensor either,so just disable that error check as well.

I was under the assumption that the reading smanager gave me under the AF sensor was the air fuel ratio...?

stock O2 sensor is narrowband,only 0-1V range & switches sharply around the 0.5V-stoic(14.7) AF mark from rich to lean & vice versa.
thats why u have the radical AF readings,u could be reading anything from say 15 to 18AF,assuming u havent changed the standard volt conversions in the closed loop tab.
u need to invest in a wideband setup & install that either seperate & running in parallel to your stock O2 or replace stock O2 with a wideband O2 setup that spits out a narrowband signal as well,assuming u want to run closed loop.
widebands are fairly well priced these days,good investment & first thing u should invest in if u want to tune yourself.

nobody can really tell u that for certain from the other side of the internet.
i would suggest seeing if u can get your tuner to email u a cal file that he feels will get u there ok,if u dont want to tow.
or u really need sombody to chime in that has used that prelly file on a similar setup,sorry im B18,cant help u.
if all else fails & u must risk it,just read your plugs first,see what they are telling u & stay right out of the throttle all the way there,especially under load.
