Ok i have a 94 integra with s300. The car is turboed and has had hondata on it for over a year. I took the motor apart and rebuilt it with new internals. Car was apart for about 3 months. When i put the car back to gether it would not idle drives fine once you get going. no vacume leaks anywhere. 1. Could hondata be out of tune and wount let it idle? Also car is running real rich. 2. Could that be hondata out of tune as well? and before when the car was running right i could plug my lap top up to hondata and it would read all of the cars functions for example, rpms, psi...... but was not able to adjust anything with my lap top. now that car is put back together 3. Hondata is not reading anything, check engine light is on and says idle control under the check engine light. I am planning on having the car re-tuned real soon. But dident no if these problems would be because of hondata.

If some one could please help me out it would be great.

If you have an idle control error, you should check your wiring to the idle controller as well as making sure the idle controller is not just dirty and stock open or closed. There are a number of plugs that will connect to an idle controller in the engine bay, so maybe you just don't have it plugged in correctly.

And depending on what setup you have now, and if it's different from your previous setup, you will have to retune..............

I went with a bigger piston and head gasket. But what would cause me not to be able to read anything on hondata besides the engine check code Now that I have put it back together. I have everything hooked up under the hood right but don't no why hondata Is not reading anything.
