tach problem

$ever since ive been running my s300 when i get up to 5500 rpms the needle starts to twitch then by 6000 it just drops to 0?? any ideas

basically,your tach is reading off the ecu
u need to cut this connection & wire it to read off the ignitor output in the dizzy like the rest of us ol' skools
