Calibration for B20/B16 Turbo 650cc injectors

Post by Ricardillo77 »

Hello Hondata Users:
I'm new to Hondata and new to this Honda Turbo project. I need a calibration just to drive 50 minutes to a dyno and some traffic on the way there.

B20B block
Ported B16 head
Ported Intake manifold
Eagle crank
Eagle rods
ITR 84mm pistons
JDM ITR camshafts
650cc Precision Injectors
T3/T04E Turbo Charger, .50 A/R Compressor, .63A/R Turbine 3" Inlet & 2" Outlet.
38mm wastegate @ 8psi spring
ITR 4.40 tranny

Like I said, is just enough to drive 50 mins to 1hour and some traffic. The hondata system doesn't have a similar calibration on file.
Thank you

Try taking the stock p30 calibration changing injector size and calc the fuel trim with the fuel pressure, from 1600cc to 2000cc. Turbo car is just like a N/A car under lowspeed driving conditions. I would not recommend boosting till you get to the dyno of course but it may give you a good starting point to get it to idle and drivable.

Are you running stock map?

I found a place online that sells Hondata Maps of customers cars they have tuned but I really feel that them charging a customer hundreds to tune and then others to buy a tune that is similar is redundant and frustrating. Not to mention a bit dangerous.

I don't like the try thing... I put too much money into the project and break it just because I tried something. No Sir, thank you. Anyone else has a good start up point?
