I'm planning to just get I/H/E for my 07 s2k.
Whats the difference in Kpro vs Flashpro (other than cruise control not working for Kpro)?
Is there any benefits in paying $2k for Kpro vs $700 for Flashpro?
Thank you,
Danny
Flashpro vs Kpro
FlashPro
- $700
- Plug and play installation.
- All stock vehicle features work (cruise control)
KPro
- $1400 + cost of PRB ECU
- Installation uses dual adapter & stock ECU must be reflashed.
- Faster upload time.
- Many more features (Boost control, Nitrous control, lean protection, gear compensation, launch control, full throttle shift etc)
For a NA setup the FlashPro would probably be cheaper and easier.

Hondata
Yes, the rev limiter can be set lower or higher real easy with the FlashPro.
Download the FlashPro Manager software from Hondata and see for yourself all the calibations you can "set" and save to the FlashPro.
Then, the upload from your FlashPro to your ECU takes only 90 seconds.
Also, I understand it also as a launch rev limiter (while the car is not moving the engine will only rev to 5K, for example, until you let out the clutch)

I have the FlashPro for the SI and it is excellent! While it doesn't do everything the Kpro can do, it still does more than anything else available at a cost and ease-of-use that no other unit can compare to. I even bought a $300 netbook dedicated to use with the flashpro with the money I saved over other alternative enigne management routes I have considered. All that plus Hondata's never ending updates and service make the Flashpro well worth it for any daily driven car.
Do FLashPro or KPro works with the european versions of S2000 with DBW and 2.0 L engine (F20) ?
