How long can be a USB cable for smanager without loosing or slowing the info?
Those who know don't tell, and those who tell don't know.

The maximum length for a USB cable is 3 metres (10 feet), but 15 fett usually works too. Using extension cables (even if less than 10 feet) often doesn't work.

The only way you can have an extension over the limit of the normal cable length is with a cable that has a booster or repeater built into the cable. I have a few 16 ft cables I have used for the xbox 360 and rockband with the kids. I am unsure if they will function correctly with the s300.

I will test my USB repeater out and give results.

Also another option could be on the same page:
USB CAT5 RJ45 150ft Active Repeater
USB-C5EXT
Extends USB to a maximum of 150ft. This active repeater uses standard CAT5/5e/6 RJ45 cable for added flexibility. It activelyboosts & regenerates USB signal for maximum performance. USB 1.1 compliant. (Connectors: Type A Male/RJ45 Female to Type A Female/RJ45 Female; Colors: Metallic Gray)

Running through 54 ft of USB.
One standard 6ft cable
(3) 16ft Repeaters

I was able to download the current Calibration and it is online but I did not test to see if there is any delay with datalogging. If there is it would probably be in Milliseconds and I would not be able to tell.

Data gets lossy over that much cable.
Same reason you shouldn't run over 300ft of Cat5/5e, or any of the other recommended lengths for data cables, you end up with lossy signal and lots of noise.

I wouldn't trust that, nor would I recommend it, if you want to get clean readings/logs.

When I get the car fully tuned which wont be until next spring... If you could not tell the car sits very much. I will datalog with both a regular cable and the repeaters. The whole point of the repeaters is to boost the signal bidirectionally for no data loss.
