What happens when u run off the edge of the fuel & ignition tables?

Do values keep interpolating right off the edge of the map or do u get the last value seen where it ran off the map?

Just wondering as to what cranking values would occur, considering ive never seen a table start at less than 500rpm.

Also, guy that did my original cal where i bought the s300,had my vtec set to 4800rpm(with no boundary window set) & my high speed tables starting at 5000rpm,took me like 3 months to notice the discrepancy but i noticed no ill effects although considering its only a 200rpm difference, but still, anyone know what happens when u run off the map?
Obviously it reads something "off" the tables, ecu doesnt seem to go into "i dont know" mode if your off the edge.....

It will use the closest value. eg if you high cam tables start at 5000 rpm, and you switch at 4000 rpm, then the 5000 rpm value will be used. The same thing if you run off the top of a table - the highest value will be used.
