sorry for such a stupid question, but for an OBD1 setup, do I have to run an OBD1 alternator, or is the OBD2 still ok? I ask because I JUST got my car driving with the new swap, and my alternator is doing absolutely nothing. I assume it is dead, but do I need to replace it with an OBD1 or stick with the OBD2 that was originially on the b18b1?
Thanks in advance

well I have the obd2 harness and alternator, so the plug matches the harness. I assume that means that my problem is a dead alternator, and not that I need an OBD1 alternator. If that's the case, then thanks for the help. I'm ready to drive again haha

edit - took the alternator to the parts store and had it tested, alternator is good...I don't know where to go with it now.
