hi

i got a b18c4 (gsr engine basically) with the iab intake. Im putting this into my jdm sir. Now it seems i can use the b16 loom which plugs straight in etc i just that the iabs wont work.

Im told i can run the iabs very easily with my s300 which is in a p30.

My question is how would i do this, im a total noob with the s300.

That or how can i run the car so the iabs are always set open?

also is there a stock gsr map or which standard calibration is best to use on the engine? This is only a temp engine so im not interested in having it all mapped up id just like a temp calibration

You do not have the wiring for the IABs, and the ECU you are using does not have the circuitry to operate them.

By default, the IABs will be open when they are not hooked up to anything.

Is that if I leave the vaccuum disconnected also? Or do I connect the vacuum to open them. Reason I asked about running the iabs is looking at the software it seems to allow you to use hue nos control to activate them.

Do you know what map it is to run the car? I been told to use the it'd or p72 map from the standard calibrations given with the hondata.

Thanks for your help

I believe you must disconnect the vacuum line, but you will have to verify this by looking at how it moves.

There is no need to use Nitrous controls for this as there are additional IAB outputs you can select, but you will need a relay and will need to look at the Helms manual for proper wiring.

All calibrations have code for IAB control.
