I was wanting to try out Auto Tune. i found the S200 article saying to activate it is Alt+A while holding in a cell. i haven't tried it with a S300 yet just wanted to make sure the short key is still the same. also is there a function where i could turn this on drive around the street loading the lower cells with the s300 updating the auto tune without me having to hold the short key.
thank you

I found this:
Spunkster wrote:You must drive in the parts of the map you want to autotune while holding down CTRL-T. IT would be best to be in open loop. setting the autotune base allows the software to know what the values in the fuel tables were when you started so that it knows how to properly make changes. Changes are automatically made to he fuel tables when CTRL -T is held down.
We do not recommend using AUto tune as it typically jsut makes your fuel maps very jagged and you must then go and smooth them out manually anyway. The best tunig method for fuel tuning is to use the dyno and make a run and then go back and check your AF ratios and make adjustments to the map where needed.
Those who know don't tell, and those who tell don't know.
lol no thanks ill just have a buddy drive it while i make the corrections. this will cut down the dyno time and not waste my buddy's time and brakes for his dyno.kinetics wrote:Stick a folded piece of paper in between the keys to keep ctrl and t pressed down.
Auto Tune is to help the tuning process. if you have your wideband and software synced correctly you can set a desired Air Fuel and let the software help you achieve it. Basically speeds up the tuing processes for Speed Density (map sensor) cars, where you have to tune the cells individually. It wont always be perfect and you should come back threw and clean up the 2d/3d map of any spikes.
