AEM wide band O2

Post by n2boost »

I just got a new Hondata P28 with an S300 to upgrade my P72 w/S200. I also have a new AEM wide bansd O2 sensor W/ gauge. I want to connect the wide band power, ground and output wires to the stock power wires on the factory plug and connect it to the stock harness so I don't have to run a wire to the fuse box and to ground. Can I use the honda stock wires that powers the stock O2 sensor to power the AEM Sensor? I know that I must use the factory plug out of the factory O2. The instructions in here said to power the wide band from the fuse box, why not use the wire that powers the stock O2? :?

Wire it like the AEM instructions say to. You need a clean 12v power, and direct ground.
thank you, thank you, I'm here all week

It is not a good idea to get power from the ECU. The best location is switched power points on the fuse box.

This is for a PLX, but the basic idea is the same.
