Weird boost control problem

I've been trying to set this thing up but just running into headaches.

The odd thing is under boost control it seems like I can only control boost by disabling it. Example, I check enable boost control on B21 put in the fixed duty cycle I want to run, then I uncheck the box to disable it and that seems to control it somewhat. What could be the reason for this happening (there is no polarity on the solenoid)? what else could I check?

When the enable boost control on B21 check box is checked it over boosts all the time and it cannot hold any type of boost.

Below is a snapshot, this allows me to run 19-20psi with some boost creeping. I have a 1.1 bar spring in the wastegate.

thanks for any help

It all depends on what settings you are using in the bosot control parameters. You cannot use the defaults and expect it work without making changes and custom tuning to the needs of your setup.

RE: " The values for this table must be set by using a fixed duty cycle (see Control Method) and noting the resulting manifold pressure."

Yes I've tried making my own table of Pressure vs Duty Cycle, but the problem still remains that when I enable boost control by checking it, the boost overboosts until it hits boost cut no mater what fixed duty cycle I put in. Any think else I could check?

What is the lowest fixed duty cycle you have tried besides zero?

The lowest I have tried is zero with my minimum duty cycle at zero, solenoid activation at 14psi (1.1bar is the wastegate spring). with those settings It overboosts and hits boost cut at 19psi.

This was done with the solenoid at the normaly closed option becasue it is the hondata one, not gm.

besides zero though, what is the lowest duty cycle you have tried?

gotcha 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 60% I have datalogs of them all.
I have hit boost cut with all of those duty cycles

Post the calibration and datalogs showing the problem
