Must have a boost leak somewhere. I know this engine is fully built so i took off boost protection to do the WOT pull and the car seemed fine other than needing some fuel adjustment. See attached for the WOT 3rd gear after 5 seconds of 3k rpm. It looks like it did get some knocking at the higher rpms.

Create another WOT pull. I adjusted fuel. The datalog shows the car's max boost was 28.5 pounds. That's far from the 14psi wastegate spring you mentioned. That's why it kept hitting boost cut. I have also gone ahead and removed the boost cut.

Create a normal driving log with a WOT pull. I am smoothing out the fuel.

I was pushing so much boost because my wastegate shit the bed. Swapped out for a new one and we are back in business. I think I made 13lbs. Did a couple WOT pulls down the road. Run was decent. I think I got 1 knock for the whole run (could be a false positive), but for sure it felt like knock control was pulling a lot of timing up top.

Cleaned up some of the fuel. We are moving to VTC 20. Create a normal driving log.

Create a similar log. I am cleaning up the fuel. I am glad the car is running well.

Cleaned up the fuel. Create a WOT log revving the car to 7600rpm. Make sure to hold the car at 3000rpm for about 5 seconds before you do the pull. Make sure you are in 3rd gear and you do it on a flat road. This will help later when blending the VTC tables.

Cleaned up fuel. We are moving to VTC 30. Create a normal driving log. What VTC gear are you running? I don't seem to have it in my notes.

I am out of town until Wednesday, but I will run that tune when I get home. I have a k20 head / components so it is a 50 degree vtc gear.

thanks!

Sounds good. I need the make and model of the car so i can get the weight, the tires you are running and the transmission you are running. This is needed for the virtual dyno software.

It's a gutted kswapped 2005 Lotus Elise. It should be about 1900 lbs with a full tank of gas.

It has the 6 speed transmission out of an 04 acura rsx.

I am running 245/40zr17 tires on the rear.
