I'm still running FPM 1.6.3, so I don't know if it might have been addressed in a newer release, but I've had issues with ECT2 in my '13 Civic Si. When I enable ECT2, the datalog shows 32 F and my radiator fans don't come on. I meant to report this a few weeks ago.

P0128 added for the next release on the 2006-11 Civic Si. BTW it should be under requests.

FYI P0128 is generated over two cold start driving cycles when the ECU based two tests. The first generates an error when the actual coolant temperature using ECT1 is much colder than a calculated coolant temperature. ie slow warm up = thermostat stuck open. The second condition is when the ECT2 rises too quickly from a cold start (thermostat stuck open) or rises too slowly (thermostat stuck closed).
Obviously replacing the thermostat will generate these errors, but I've also seen it from tuning as well - fuel & ignition can change the rate at which the engine warms up.

Yup, it makes sense. I typically lower cold start idle and such on cars, but it seems to be a combination of cold climate and that -- as I haven't had any major influx of P0128 triggers til now.

Thanks.

Ever since the last update, when I go to plug my flashpro into the obd2 port it doesn't want to register that it's plugged in. If I unplug and plug it in a few times it finally recognizes it. Then I go to plug it into my laptop and it does the same thing. I have to mess around with both the obd2 plug and the USB plug by pluging in and unplugging until they both want to register. I never had a problem with it until the latest update came out.

*edit just uninstalled everything and reinstalled and it's working just fine *

Hi

I can't seem to establish a Bluetooth connection between my new flashpro and iPhone 5. No luck on my iPad too.

There is no issue with android devices. I was able to make the connection with android.

Please advise!

Make sure you are using FlashProManager 1.8.3 and have uploaded your calibration with this version. What iOS are you using? What are your bluetooth settings in FlashProManager?

Did you upload the calibration again?

What are your bluetooth settings in FlashProManager?

I have not uploaded any calibrations yet.

The Bluetooth settings are default. I did not change anything. Flashpro Bluetooth is definitely enabled.

The issue is my lap top running windows 7 and samsung note 2 running kitkat are able to detect the flashpro. iPhone 5 running ios7 totally cannot detect.

Does this have anything to do with uploading calibrations first? Issue is other devices are able to detect except for iPhone 5 only even though calibrations are not uploaded.

Bluetooth connection to my laptop is possible:

It seems that he has told you twice to upload a calibration using the latest version.

If after uploading calibration my iPhone 5 can connect, how come andriod devices can connect without uploading?

It doesn't make sense.

Problem is I can't even detect the presence of flashpro using iPhone 5 whereas andriod and my laptop can.

Android uses Bluetooth 2.1/EDR. iOS, thanks to Apple's restrictive policies, has to use Bluetooth Low Energy, which works a little differently.

Sometimes Bluetooth Low Energy takes a little while to find the device. I would reset the device name to something short and without punctuation (eg 'FlashPro') and set the PIN to 0000 or 1234. Then reboot both the FlashPro (by unplugging it) and the iOS device. The exception is because there was no local Bluetooth radio to get the address.
