Hey guys just saw this and noticed Burg has similar setup as I have
05 Element YH2
JDM K24A RBB2
50 degree
Ported type s pump
70mm tb ported cloned sk2 intake
TSX 6 speed gears AWD Trans
2200cc Bosch Fuel injectors
WALBRO 525LPH
AEM wideband wired to kpro v4
getting it ready for 10 Lbs.
my dilemma is I'm a builder not a tuner I had my E tuned on RDX injectors and was beautiful until I forgot to download and save the kal before completely mutilating the whole map when I changed the injectors .
So my question is do you mind if I follow this thread and ask questions my biggest issue is I cant get it to idle correctly no IAC to assist me either.
not sure if they supplied me with incorrect deadtimes for the injectors but extra rich, A/F pegged at 10

Welcome to the forum Solo. I'm the opposite, I am a tuner not a builder lol. You're free to ask questions. If your car is running rich than trim the fuel until you get it in line. Make sure you are starting with a clean base tune so you don't chase your tail. Another option is to start your own thread and other can chime in to help. There you can post your own tune file and logs.

Ed, I put a full log as the first one as I found that my intake coupler had ripped in the last week or 2. I noticed tge car was slightly sluggish and IATs were high today and upon checking found the rip right before the TB and MAP. I patched it until I can get a new coupler. and saw IATs went from 120 down to low 100s. Did another pull plus some driving and noticed knock count was less. First log had me at 94 before I got home and lots of events in fourth. Once patched, the car was far more responsive.

Thanks

Cleaned up fuel and timing. We are moving to VTC 30 Vtec. Create a normal driving log with a WOT pull. Make sure you hold the car at 3000rpm for about 5 seconds before you do the WOT pull. Make sure your in 3rd gear and are on a flat road.

The middle WOT I ran into an issue and felt like the car wouldnt go past 3k for some reason. The last WOT, there was a slight grade downhill I didnt realize. The first one is likely the cleanest. Thanks.

Ed, was able to replicate my issue from the previous log in the second pull and wanted to see if you could look at a log of it as well. Initially I thought it was a TPS issue but it appears the problem only occurs with aggressive WOT. If I roll slowly into the throttle, it appears to be okay but any aggressive throttle it falls flat on its face right at VTEC engagement. I did not get a chance to check the oil but all connections appeared to be fine. Can you let me know if you see any issues?

I cleaned up some fuel. What you experienced was lean protection. The check engine light should turn on to warn you. I activated this to be safe and avoid leaning out the engine. Create a similar log.

Thanks Ed, I didn't realize there was lean protection so it worried me for a sec. For your review below.

We are moving to VTC 40. Create a normal driving log with a WOT pull.

I reduced timing to eliminate the knock. Create another log with a WOT pull.
