It's up to you. Whatever you feel is best while you're there. Seems like you have a good eye for this stuff, if you've already started you might as well. As long as you get the opening right you should be fine either way.

When do you think you'll have it all back together? Just remembered it's your daily, so probably tomorrow. Haha. So you'll have the HR intake, ZDX TB, and all the new port work now that we need to clean up the tune for?

Don't cloud up other people's threads man, you're answering your own quote, the OP has no interest in RDX values. I explained to you there are no less than 6 areas of your tune with serious issues beyond RDX injector values to get your tune right from your other tuner. I am here to help people who want help and need the help, but when you have a tune with important safety things turned off, bypassed, or otherwise reduced beyond reasonable standards it makes it difficult to plug in RDX injector values and send you send you on your way. All of that was explained in that email, to which your response was simply to answer where you live and what octane fuel you have.
Bro no one trying to cloud up no one tread simply trying get a respond & help other people, I understand what you explained & fix everything you said & sent 4 email with where I live & octane right after you email me back haven't received a respond ever since, my tune was done by a professional that turn off knock after he complete the tune , I reput the knock & adjust vtc to be more smoother , like you told me I resend you the info & it been 2 week I haven't received a responses from you make me feel you just stole my tune honestly I'm here for help not B.S if you can help I appreciate it not then just tell me & I would continue finding someone who can help this what the hondata forum are for

A bit of high temp (ceramic) paint. Some grinding and sanding. I took more out than I thought I would, but happy with the results. I haven't ported an intake in over 3 decades🤯
I haven't looked closely but I think I can see some wear.

The intake came out nice! Port job and paint looks really good. Valves look pretty good, might be some wear, but they still look better than direct injection valves after a short period of time.

Got something to start this setup?

Looks like a nice clean install. The intake paint looks really nice.

Yes, so let's go through it like we talked about before. We will start on the 0* cam angle and work our way up tuning all cam angles, then blending it out. So this one will be on the 0* cam angle with vtec at 5500. Make your normal 20 minute datalog, and one WOT pull in third gear from 2500-8600.

Nice, always a good feeling when they start after being torn apart. Maybe the horns are jealous you ported the intake so nicely and they want to know why they didn't get any love... Not sure why honestly, kind of strange. Maybe bumped on wire on them or something and grounding out?

Over all it looked great for a start. This next revision will be on the 0* cam again, but vtec will be at 4000 on this one. Same type of driving, with the third gear WOT pull.

When are you going to be in Stockton?

Here is the next revision for you.

We have a yard at the port that we are storing and shipping in/out pieces of windturbines. Was in Fresno last week. Looking at dyno runs with this intake. The car will benefit from Vtec between 4000 to 4300.

Gotcha. Movin' all around for work. That's pretty cool.

We're just tuning the 0* cam angle right now. So we move vtec up and down to make sure all the fuel tuning is done properly before and after vtec engagement. The final vtec point will be determined at the end depending on the fuel table values and feedback from you of course. With the stock cat pipe, it probably won't be lower than 4600 or so like it was before, but we'll see.
