stop worrying about this for the moment, and go put the ecu in the car, uplaod a calibration, start the car and try datalogging and making changes. If all this works, then you have nothing further to worry about.

agreed, Im sorry, but I just have so many things going wrong that I wanted to be able to rely on just one thing being solid. I will fire the car up and try dataloging and making changes.....will update soon, thanks!

Well, my ECU was shipped and Carlos from Hondata worked on it. It was in fact a couple tracks on the ECU that where lifted. He was able to fix this and he is currently shipping it back......you guys are really great. I am so happy that he was able to fix this for me, and for a good pirce I might add!!! I cant wait to get to back!

Got my ECU back days before I ever belived it would make it from west coast to east coast. Pluged it in, GREEN LIGHTS!!! Awesome. Uploaded my new calibration with the larger injectors, fired it up. Ran great, no smoke, was actually able to drive it! Also, my IACV wasnt buzzing. I dont know how to thank you guys! Carlos and the rest of the team are top notch! Thanks again!

..... well, I got the same problem as this guy. My lights are in this order:
USB -> green -> red
when I start the car, the red light comes on and stays on. When i upload or download, the green light is the one that flashes. I get no errors, but the ECU doesn't seem to do anything different when I try to program it. (I tested it with a 2001 rpm rev limit, and it still just revs out to the factory 7200)
I know I did lift at least 1 trace when the hondata was installed. (the hondata wouldn't accept any uploads) but I fixed it, and now it "seems" to work all right. Except for the ECU not changing the way it runs. Any help?

Will it datalog? Try creating a new calibration by going to file new and when creating the calibration set the revlimit to 3000 RPM. ALso make sure you choose fuel and ignition cut. When it hits the revlimit see if the tach jumps around wildly.

no, I can't get it to datalog. (i tried both onboard, and realtime)
if it matters, the red led stays solid (except when I try realtime datalog, then it blinks intermittantly)
the only time the green light comes on, is when I upload to the hondata (on for a split second) and when I download to the laptop (it comes on a lot, and blinks, then goes off once the laptop has the info)

The reason mine was like this was because I raised a few tracks while installing. If it's solid red, that means it's not working. I was able to get someone to fix it for me, and now it runs great....solid green lights. It was my own error, not the s300
