Head unit dash app does NOT connect to the flash pro

I have the same problem. I had it working before but maybe the recent "Improved Bluetooth operation" in update 4.1.8 may have broken Bluetooth connection?

How did you get yours to work before? I haven’t been able to get mine to work since I bought the car last January of 2023.

It just worked. Didn't have a connection problem a few updates ago.

IIRC I had it working without pairing it with the head unit. You just had to manually press FlashPro every time you open the app.

And after pairing with the head unit, it would automatically connect to the head unit when you open the app. This is after checking the "alterative pairing mode for head unit".

But what year do you have? And do you have a new flash pro? What version are you running on the head unit and flashpro

2019 type r. Head unit was on 1.6.0. Not sure what version of the latest firmware worked but for sure V3.9.3 was working on the OG flashpro. The newer one on the latest update just don't work at all for me.

Ya it’s definitely the new flashpro firmware settings. Hopefully they find a fix.
