I understand it would be good to get this version dialed in so we have something to fall back on. Then play with the higher cam angles and see how they fell. As mentioned the cross over is noticeable. With the sound and the pull feeling. The during the 4th gear pull I could really appreciate the mid range since the RPMs don't climb up as fast as in 3rd gear.

For knock there was no knock in the 3rd gear pull but there was some identified in the 4th gear. Hopefully we'll figure it with reducing the ignition as you mentioned.

As for the 45* I figure we just give it a try and see how it goes. Then go from there.

Here's my next datalog. I had a good 3rd gear pull. But I tried to do the 4th gear pull but came up short. First one was from 3000-6000 then the next one was from 4300-6500. I tried to get these pull on my way to work so it covers the pulls and normal driving. It's just that traffic got in the way. I also wanted to note that I did fill up gas yesterday hope it doesn't mess anything up.

Looks really good. The knock happened in one area during the fourth gear pulls which is good. I removed some timing there for you that. Also made a couple WOT fuel adjustments of a percent or two. It's getting there...

Yeah let's get through this version, especially chasing the fourth gear knock, then we can try the things you want. And no, filling up is fine, then we can tune for variance in fuel quality and all that if possible.

Here s the next one. Same datlaog and riving style, keep doing the third gear pull and the fourth gear short pull to check for knock.

Sorry for the long delay for this datalog. Work had been busy and weather had been on and off recently. If I do take awhile again I'm sorry in advance.

After reviewing the datalog the 3rd gear pull had been great. No knocks. 4th gear pull there was knocks still being shown. From what I noticed it was around 5100, 5300, 7000 and 8200. I was trying to get it all the way to redline but things get pretty fast really quick. Since I had more time with this revision the drivability had been pretty solid. Especially during traffic. I don't know if it's in my head but I feel that the car pulls hard from 4500 then pulls a little harder at 6000 all the way to redline.

I did fill up gas again couple days ago so fuel may differ a little but hopefully not too much.

Yeah it all looks good, still had a couple knock in the areas we were working on as you mentioned. I touched up those areas some more, test this one when you can and we'll see how it looks. No rush, everything looks great, and even a few knock on a drive like that is no big deal, especially since fourth gear pulls won't be your normal driving style. We're just testing for worst case scenario basically.

Thanks for being cool about the long delay. Things just doesn't align like we would like all the time.

So far the new revision feels relatively similar. Just trying to get touch up on the knocks.

Here's next datalog. My 4th gear pull wasn't as clean as I wanted. I wanted to rev it up to redline but I didn't have the space. I managed to get from ~4100 - 7200. I know last time knocks was around those rpms and 8100. And other knock was identified at 6200 with this new datalog. The 3rd gear pull looks great with no knocks and it revved up to 8600 very nicely.
