No injector pulse after disabling secondary 02
Re: No injector pulse after disabling secondary 02
I am more than willing to do the work to diagnose the issue. I will be honest that this is definitely my weakest link. I was looking at pin out diagrams trying to figure that out myself which I can. What test would you recommend. Also would you be able to recommend a test once I trace these wires. I am struggling with the fact that my car ran with zero issues up until now as to why that would have been the case with my wiring bad from the start. Do all three wires go directly to the ecu in different pins? Thanks for the assistance. I have watched at least 10-15 hours of youtube videos on testing 5v circuits and other trouble shooting methods for similar issue and I have been on your forum and Honda tech and k20a non stop trying to get any information I can to help me diagnose the problem. I am more than willing to do the work myself I am just not exactly sure what my next step was. I will trace the wires and see where they go for now.

Unplug the MAP. Unplug the ECU. Find the ECU pins for the MAP (VCC, MAP, SG). Find what pin is what for the MAP. Use a multi-meter to check continuity between each ECU pin and MAP pin. Also check for shorts to ground, and shorts between each pin.
A good way to do is to work out what should be connected to what without looking at your existing wiring as a blind test.
You could also check by wire color, assuming they are color keyed, but even Honda recycles colors so this is an extra check at best.
One that helps is to use another length of wire to extend the length of the probes on the multi-meter if one end is inside the car and the other in the engine bay.
Then if that all looks good you can measure the MAP voltage directly on the ECU pin with everything powered up. Just be super careful not to short out anything when measuring.

That's been my main concern since I got the ecu back in 2012. It's spent more time in my closet then in the car because I was so scared of damaging it. I'll get on what you recommend and report back. Thank you

Hey I can't thank you enough for walking me through how to test continuity on those wires. I was able to figure it out and get it running again. Let me send you guys a gift card or something. What do you guys like to eat for lunch. Or you like Starbucks just like me know what you would prefer. Here was the issue. (attached pic)
Just peeking out ever so slightly.
So I erased me ecu after I found that wire and reloaded my base and so again I got the code p0141. So I am going to go into closed loop tab and turn off the secondary O2 secondary box correct?
Thanks again. It feels like Christmas

It's good that you have sorted out that problem.
P0141 is secondary o2 heater. Disabling the secondary o2 should fix it.
