No. Just one WOT pull in third gear is all we need. You can take it for a five minute drive if you want. I just need to see a third gear pull is all.

Okay so here is the first revision towards finalizing everything. Everything is blended out so we'll see how it runs now. Which SRI do you have on the car? The intake temps are consistently high in the datalogs. With the temps in the datalogs the ECU will be pulling fuel and spark to keep the engine happy. So you will lose a little bit of performance there. If you switch to something like the Acuity intake down the road it would help the intake temps a bit. Just something to keep in mind.

Anyways, take this one for a spin when you want and see what you think. It'll take another revision or two to dial everything in, but this will be a good look at how it will perform. Vtec looks the be happiest at 4500, see what you think about the engagement point being there.

ok iknow the way i have it sucks but i have a dc spot sri notice i lose mid range power was thinking about going bck stock but might keep it sri or should i go bck stock or get like a heat shield to help keep away heat but will it effect the tune if i go back stock

Yeah you’ll be losing some power all over with the intake temps where they are. Especially when the really hot weather comes. Stock intake is just as bad. Once the stock intake box gets hot the heat doesn’t go away. It heat soaks really easy.

I would recommend something like the Acuity intake for the 9th gens. Large tube design and gets everything away from the heat.

Any intake change will need some tuning adjustments. But if you do get the Acuity or something just let me know, we can touch it up. We’ll get it cleaned up as good as we can for this intake though.

Some take less. Your car is really consistent which is nice. It will still take another couple revisions to get it all dialed in. On your next datalogs, go back to the twenty minute datalogs like before. Throw in your normal third gear pulls and try to make a fourth gear pull if possible. Fourth gear can get pretty high speed, so your fourth gear pull run it up to 6500 or so. No need to get a crazy speeding ticket.

Yeah once you get an exhaust and exhaust just let me know. We can dial it in for all that stuff. Opening up the exhaust will open it up a lot.
