none of the cal from "open new calibration" for the 2012-2015 civic si have that fuel type tables with more than one option
That's right, you're right!
Sorry, but ask Hondata whether that is so correct, or whether this is an fault?

vtecrasr, there is no 'race' calibration for the 12-15 Si, so you don't need to do anything.
Here's a test procedure to follow:
1. Set launch rpm to 3000 rpm. Set full throttle shift to 4000 rpm and 1% throttle. Upload.
2. Start the engine and idle in neutral with the clutch out. Switch off cruise control. Press the 'set' switch and confirm the tach shows the lambda. Switch on the cruise control and confirm the 'set' switch does nothing.
3. Switch off cruise control and confirm the engine can rev above 4000 rpm (still in neutral, clutch not depressed).
4. Press the 'cancel' switch and confirm that the tach does nothing. Press in the clutch as well as the 'cancel' switch and confirm the tach shows 3000 rpm.
5. Still with the clutch in press 'set' 5 times and confirm the launch rpm drops to 2500 rpm.
6. When driving at 4500 rpm press the clutch in and confirm you get a 4000 rpm limit.
FN2 owners, if the tach is not following ECU commands then you're no going to be able to perform most of the steps. At least confirm that the tach is not responding so I can look into that.
Thanks.

followed every step 1-6
1. completed.. upload success.
2. started engine, idle in neutral, clutch out, cruise control main switch off (disabled) pressed "set" nothing happened. switched cruise switch ON, pressed set, nothing happened.
3. switched off cruise control, confirmed engine reved past 4,000 rpm while in neutral with the clutch NOT pressed.
4. pressed cancel switch and confirmed tach does nothing, pressed in clutch all the way to the floor, and pressed cancel switch and nothing happened. even at the same time. I tried both.
5. still had clutch in pressed set 5 times and nothing happend. still was able to rev above 4,000 rpms.
6. drove the car at 4500 rpms, pressed the clutch in and it slipped to about 4800-5000 but went back to normal rpm of 4,500 rpms.

I can confirm that this also doesn't work on FB6 2015 Si. Tried the following steps above but none of the new features appear to work.

Hondata,
about what feature are you talking?

0. Please tell me what vehicle you are referring to and provide the calibration.
R-12914 wrote:about what feature are you talking?
What do you mean? The procedure is to test the clutch switch, cruise control buttons and tach control.

My Car is a Honda Civic TypeR FN2 with Rotrex supercharger and a hybrid calibration (MAF with MAP-fuel-tables) like this:
Matthias_Rotrex_FINAL.fpcal
About the procedure to follow:
1.
I have uploaded the map with this settings:

2.
This works fine on FN2!
3.

4.

5.

6.

seems to only work on 8thgen civics.

vtecrasr: We have a 9th gen here and it works on that ok. However, there are differences between the 2012, 2013 and 2014+ Si, and as soon as people will show me what calibration and therefore what ECU they have, we will narrow it down.
R-12914: Thanks. So cruise control buttons, clutch, tach control all work. It then must be the minimum speed or minimum throttle. I'll do some more testing here.

In additional to the tachometer-upload indicator if we uploading a map, can you make a feature like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ465JikHvc
I mean only a fast (faster as in the video) turn up and down the rev counter, the coolant temperature gauge and fuel gauge when the ignition switch on!
Many cars have this feature from factory like a gauge check up!
It would be nice if you could define an option here, where we could enable or disable this feature with a hook in the software!
Is that possible?
Thank you!
