Make sure the s300 is properly seated on all the pins inside the ECU.

You should be able to datalog once ignition is on even if the engine is not running.

ok=) so im not going crazy, lol........ I have removed the sister board double checked my solders, there was one pin on the 48 connector that had slightly lifted from previous owner installing chips, but thru my years repairing circuit boards for an ag manufacturer I see nothing wrong with my soldering work and feel that its repaired sufficiently. Going to reinstall the board and try again.
Just to eliminate my confusion, being i havent seen the s300 work normally, even thou it says it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So when i turn ignition on with the usb cable connected, click the lightning bolt DATALOG shows up on bottom toolbar; at that point i should be seeing live sensor input values on the Sensor window??

Ok so got all put back together, The s300 says everything is working but when click data log the tps sensor goes from 0 to -13. And doesn't change when opening throttle?? still read button produces min -5 max 60.
the map sensor reads -29.5 and never changes. Bat Voltage always reads 0
Does this sound like hardware or software??? I was gunna try just reinstalling smanager
an next was gunna try removing those other two resistors??
after that all I think can do is bust out the multimeter and test circuitry from all the pinouts?
What's the odds that the s300 board is faulty??

trying to rule some things out narrow down the issue any tests you know of to rule out hardware faults without testing each circuit with meter??

To me it seems like the problem is your ECU, I would recommend trying the s300 in another ECU

Its virgin and boards look like new inside, Looks a lot better quality than the p28....... but different in some ways, i see it still has the components that need be modified and the three spots are empty where the new stuff goes=) please tell me it works, lol

You should post a photo of the PR3 ECU, maybe then you will get a better answer.
The PR3 is a JDM ECU and the P28 is US so the s300 are different

That ECU should work, there may be some additional errors you will have to disable since that ECU may have some components missing.

Are you in open loop when tuning

im in open loop, there is the estimated fuel change tab in tables window. I been using that to determine adjustments, but after adjusting the table can you reset the estimated tab. so isn't affected by previous calibration values??
