I was probably one of the first in the UK to have Flash-Pro on the FN2 as I work at TDi North a Hondata dealer. I carried out a fine tune on MAF and also a basic tune on MAP before calling a halt due to customers cars needing the dyno.

My findings were that the car responds totally correct on MAF tune although I don't have the GT version so no cruise control but fuel computer works 100% correct.

On Map calibration it also seems to work fine but I only ran that for a couple of days.

What I did find after heavy tuning work and multiple uploads was that the computer reset to zero although there was fuel in the tank. After a few miles of normal driving it started to settle down and a fill-up reset it to normal and it has been fine since. Is it possible it is like the fuel gauge on the S2000 that is predictive and you see it going down to near empty if driving very hard then jumping back up to normal when driving normally?

Problem I see is people doing DIY tuning without concept of how things work or fine tuning. You can't expect a fully "Mappable" system to be available then just rely on base maps after all.

I know CPL the other UK Hondata dealer were testing the Flashpro prior to release. Did they not find any bugs? I know they knew the fuel computer wouldn't work as soon as you introduce bigger injectors as it’s calibrated for stock ones and will throw the system and their test car is boosted.

All said... very happy with the product, and any chance of something similar for EP3?

today I went for a drive (MAP). The fuel gauge more than midle.

After 5 minutes of WOT drive: The fuel light was on.

What is the correct? that's the problem.

You never know if you have fuel or not.

The 'Race' calibration does not run the trip meter correctly.

So:
With MAF calibrations ALL gauges works OK????
With MAP calibrations Hondata doesn't knows which gauges will work OK???

Any real solutions??

HONDATA after 600KM with MAP calibration I can tell you that fuell gauge work but only when trip comuter on the dash show ZERO. On the picture below trip computer showing 122km to gas station. Must be ZERO

DINU as i said above. Fuel gauge doesn't work good. Work only when trip computer show 0 to petrol station.

Any updates? Any way to find what the fuel level is even by a small trick?

Marcin, after putting fuel when trip computer shows 0 km, makes the problem dissapear or do you have to refules again, each time computer shows zero ?

DINU computer will show ZERO very fast because your fuel AVG gauge show 30L. When that gauge drop to zero then fuel gauge easy move up to true fuell level

I have the same problem, but i cant understand some thinks..

1) For fuel consumption 30lt/100km = const. the range meter should show maximum 140km range (42 lt tank). My car (just after refill) shows much more (for example 277km.. or more). That makes no sense..
2)I noticed that i lose 1 km of range for every 400 meters and it doesn't matter how i drive (fast or slow)
3)Some times, after zero indication the fuel meter continues going up and down (or stays down.. for example for needle indication ~ less than 1/4 tank needs only 18 lt to full)
4)If the car is not moving at all, the constant consumption is zero. If the car is moving without throttle (when goes downhill for example..) it is not 0 (as it should...), but 30lt/100km again....

Please inform me if you finally solve the problem!!!

Hondata, are you going to fix the problems with MAP calibrations?

The Race calibrations do not communicate with the trip meter in the dash. This is not something we can fix.

We have expanded the CTR calibrations (expanded tables, boost capibility and bigger injector capability) so that you do not need to rely on the race calibrations.
