got the new version at last, and got the launch limiter to work... the 23 knocks prior to the datalog, were from lower rpm's, it knocks between 2k rpm and 3k rpm even after the last map given to me, it also knocks near redline right before cut off. i haven't had time to do a run yet, it's just every time i do a 4th gear run it doesn't knock as much as regular driving. i will try and get a datalog of all the knocking, i personally really liked the map before last, that last one given to me made the car quite weaker, and i just found out that the i had an exhaust leak right before the primary O2 sensor which explained the unbelievable gas consumption.
thanks again.

No probs mate. If you want me to have a look at it then just drop a datalog to me and I'll help. Fix the exhaust first though.

ok i just drove my car around with the datalog running, i wasn't able to get a log on the 2-3k knock at around 30% throttle. this is using the last map given to me in this thread.
a friend of mine has a european type r with a jdm CTR k20a swap, he just got k-pro a couple of days ago, we uploaded the same map on his ecu, and there was no knocking what so ever.
his mods are pretty similar to mine with these exceptions, i have 3" straight pipe, he has 2.5" straight pipe, he has the original airbox, i have aem v2. for those who are curious, we did a few runs from standstill and from roll and it was head to head.

I'll have a look tonight mate but each car is different and some are more sensitive to knock than others.

heres a fix for you temporarily to kill the knock. if you ask me , you need alot of work done to your calibration dude , theres alot i would change. if your willing i can help you as well.
heres what i want you to do , listen carefully. load this map i give you onto the ecu , make sure its in open loop. do about a 30 minute datalog for me , no WOT at all. drive normally , but try and get in all gears in different speeds/revs. once you have this datalog , come back and post it for me ok. your part throttle tuning is way off. your car is running rich as well in medium load range. we can fix it all.

His map hasn't had any part throttle tuning or fuel curve smoothing done mate as he wanted a break from tuning/datalogging.
From memory I think I pulled some ignition at part where he was knocking but it was never eliminated.
Hope you get it sorted for him as I've been too busy to look at it.

thanks alot people, i really appreciate it. i wish you tell me what you've done so i can learn, or get an idea... but if you don't want to give your secrets that's fine too.
once again thank you i will try this and do the run you asked me for asap...

no secrets at all buddy , any questions , ask away.
i changed your vtec point to 4k , from 3800. i changed your cam angle on low cam to start it toward 50degrees for high cam engagment. i set your entire low cam cruising range to 30 degrees. when you get me this datalog , i can tune your part throttle part of the map , might ned one or 2 more to get as close to perfect as possible. once were done that , i want to play with your high cam cam angle , cause it seems your running less timing than you should be able to. may be cause your running too much cam. anyways , work in progress , lol.

i'm so sorry for the delay... it's just been extremely busy, flying all over the place, plus the car's in the shop for a good couple of weeks, getting a paint job and the passenger side mount broke for the 2nd time in 3 months, waiting for the avid mounts to get here before i can drive it. but i was able to get the log you asked me for before all that happened. this last map you gave me, well, it knocked more than the previous ones i've tried... i will upload the file tomorrow as my laptop is in my office.
once again sorry for the delay
